Maris Wolff
Maris Wolff is professor of dance at Johnson State College in Vermont and is the Founder and Artistic Director of the Vermont Dance Collective. She has performed at the Library of Congress and the Smithsonian Institute in Washington, D.C.; Jacob's Pillow, MA; Lincoln Center; on Broadway, The Dance Theater Workshop and the Museum of Modern Arts in New York City as well as museums in Boston, Atlanta, Tulsa and many other cities. She has performed as a soloist with the Milwaukee Ballet and Ballet Repertory in New York, and has been a member of the Court Dance Company of New York. In live, televised, and recorded venues, Wolff has performed ballet, modern, jazz, folk and historical dance throughout North America, Europe, England, and Africa. Wolff has choreographed over 200 dance pieces, reconstructed many historical and multicultural dances, and has been commissioned to choreograph for dance companies, and theater and music theater productions in many locations.
